Launceston-Lawrie Abra Memorial Lodge

Number 2 on the Roll of The Grand Lodge of Antient, Free & Accepted Masons of Tasmania, Australia.

Welcome!

Our Lodge meets on the fourth Thursday of each month, except December.  We meet at the Masonic Centre, 39 Brisbane Street, Launceston, in Australia's island State, Tasmania.  We hold a Christmas Meeting in December on a date which is determined each year.  The Lodge is normally Tyled at 7:30pm and visitors are admitted about 8:00pm.  Our Installation Meeting is held on the fourth Thursday in May commencing at 6:30pm with visitors admitted at 7:00pm.

If you are a Freemason and contemplating a trip to our beautiful State, or if in fact you are a Tasmanian Mason and intend to visit our vibrant city, be assured that we will welcome you.  Our normal Lodge attire is a dinner suit, however a lounge suit and tie is perfectly acceptable.  Access to the Masonic Centre for Freemasons is via the right-hand entrance door at the rear of the building, not the main door off Brisbane Street.

Visitors should note that there is a car park at the rear of the Masonic Centre, and is available for use after 6:00pm Monday to Friday and all times during the weekend.
